   The hero marine on a subway in New York faces up to 15 years if convicted after subduing a crazy main on the train.  In just one week... $2 million has been raised for his defense and that's a good thing.
   Shocker of all shockers, I agree with the KC Star about renaming something in KC.... but it comes with a caveat.

Chiefs Schedule Brutal, Ted Lasso Trolls Broncos, Anderson Cooper Apologizes, Pilots Deserve More, Royals Walk Off Bunt

   The Chiefs schedule is out and it looks harder than a chess match against a computer.  The good news is the hardest games are at Arrowhead.   The bad news, I only see one team on the schedule that I don't think has a shot at the playoffs.  Then, I'll give you the one single most important game of them all that the Chiefs must win.
   You've heard of Ted Lasso even if you've never seen it.  The show is almost an homage to the sensibilities and kindness of the lead character, played by Jason Sudeikis, who is from KC.  We've got a clip for you where the coach talks about the Chiefs, the Broncos and something from Price Chopper you will never eat again.  It's fantastic.
   There is a lesson of acceptance in the Lasso clip and we draw a stark contrast when we share the hateful, divisive words from Anderson Cooper in an apology he gave on CNN after the network let President Trump hold a town hall.  
   Pilots are demanding more money and I've got two great reasons to give it to them.  The Royals get a walk off win with a bunt.  And our final final is a survivalist celebrity choosing meat over veggies.

   Oops.  CNN was looking for a ratings boost by having President Trump on for a Town Hall with their "rising star" Kaitlan Collins.  It backfired in an epic way as Trump out negotiated CNN on the setting and audience makeup AND  built up Collins as a pit bull who then came off as really rude and cold.  Simply put, this was Trump's greatest hits and it was so epic CNN pulled the plug early and cut him off.
   The protest against SM North teacher Caedran Sullivan fell flat Wednesday as students that want her fired walked out in protest.  But so did a whole bunch of students that love her.  
   Five Chiefs games for 2023 have been leaked, we have list for you.  Kansas basketball has caught up in the NIL/transfer game very quickly as they load up on the positions they need most.  And the Royals, yes, the Royals, are just mashing the baseball.

   The House Oversight Committee led by James Comer has bank records detailing an elaborate scheme during Joe Biden's Vice Presidency, where Biden's family and associates set up 20 different companies using multiple banks in several countries to earn at least $10 million for doing nothing.  This would be the end for a Republican president... period.  We ask the question, do the Republicans even want to knock Joe Biden out when he looks so beatable?
   Paramount is cutting 25% from MTV and Showtime so they are shuttering MTV News.  I remember MTV News when it had an impact in the 1990's but didn't even know it was still a thing.  
    We've known for weeks that Patrick Mahomes is getting a new contract so it wasn't really news when Pro Football Talk wrote a piece about it Tuesday.  The whole thing has me thinking about what Mahomes is doing for others, like Tiger Woods did in golf.
   Did you know there's a haunted hotel in Major League Baseball?  It's in Milwaukee and one Dodgers player won't stay there.   We share some stories from several players about what happened when they stayed there.

   There's a run for the border in Mexico as it's believed up to one million people could be close to America, ready to come in when Title 42 ends Thursday.  It's just one of Joe Biden's myriad problems including astounding polling that show he has no chance of winning re-election. 
   After our first experience at the new KCI, I'll share a couple real flaws that I hadn't heard anyone else talk about until now.  Overall, a massive improvement.  But it feels like they tried too hard and forgot some important stuff.
   Andy Reid has given details about his retooled offensive line.  The Royals have the best offense in baseball this May, Tiger Woods' lawyers get their say in court this week against his former girlfriend trying to score big and a friend of mine you may know hits a hole in one.

Chiefs Kicker Stuns Graduation, Bob Huggins in Big Trouble, SMN Teacher Fires Back

   It's better late than never on a travel trouble Monday but we've got a couple great sports stories.  Chiefs kicker Harrison gave a commencement speech for the ages at Georgia Tech this weekend and it left a whole bunch of people in shock.  You'll love this.
   Bob Huggins is in big, big trouble after he spoke multiple slurs on a live radio interview.  He offended gays, trans and Catholics all in one fell swoop.  Who didn't he offend is the better question.
    And SM North English teacher Caedran Sullivan has penned another great story at www.readlion.com after the school district released a lame statement saying they don't support any of her views.

   Jackson Mahomes immature, goofy life has turned criminal after he's charged with 3 counts of sexual battery and a 4th charge of battery stemming from an incident February 25 at a restaurant in Overland Park.  This is a train wreck for all parties and could have been avoided.
   Then,  a can't miss conversation with Caedran Sullivan, a 15 year English teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District who completely blasted the district's woke policies in an editorial she wrote for www.readlion.com.   You won't believe what she and other teachers are asked to do as part of their job.  This is a must listen for any parent and for anyone concerned about the direction of our country.

   The Royals are making history this year... the kind of history that makes you the butt of jokes.  It's ugly, even on a night when Salvy hits two bombs.  What is going on with this miserable team?
   There is good baseball news as the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum unveils plans for an incredible new building and campus that includes a ball field.  You won't believe how many visitors the current museum hosted in February.
   Broncos quarterback and his teammates crashed a buggy while playing golf in Littleton, Colorado.  Nobody was hurt.  But the best part of this story is the name of the course they were playing when they crashed.
   Media Matters is trying to do hit pieces on Tucker Carlson by releasing videos of Tucker on the set before he was on air but it's backfiring.  It's just making him look more normal than he already did.
  And stop the presses... Matt Gaetz and AOC have teamed up to write a bill together. 

SM Teacher Drops Bomb on District, WH Blames Gun...Not Illegal Alien Killer, Mahomes Hits Red Carpet, Small Biz Hurt by Draft, NHL Team for Americans Only

   A 15 year English teacher in the SM School District has absolutely dropped a nuclear bomb on the policies of the wokesters running things by writing at op-ed at www.readlion.com that has made national news.  It's incredible.
   Joe Biden says he will negotiate a debt ceiling raise with Kevin McCarthy while ordering KJP to blame the mass shooting by an illegal alien on the gun and Republicans in Congress.  This is the dumbest argument yet if they think an American law will keep an illegal alien from buying an illegal gun.  He CANNOT buy it legally,  for crying out loud.
   Patrick Mahomes hit the red carpet at the Met Gala in New York and you won't believe on media outlet's account for why Mahomes got invited.  We are clearly living in two different worlds.
   Small business owners in KC are complaining they went broke over three days of the NFL Draft as roads were closed and people couldn't get to their shops and one NHL team is selling playoff tickets ONLY to Americans.  You'll love this story.
