   The Chiefs "stone handed" a win to the Eagles Monday night in a game where they very clearly showed they are better than Philly or anyone else.  But it doesn't matter.  5 drops, two red zone turnovers and a slew of offensive false starts and holding calls will keep the Chiefs from beating anyone. This time, this season is doomed if they don't fix their mess.
   The Wall Street Journal has published a story on Travis Kelce where he's hinting at retirement.  I don't buy it... yet.
   Hunter Dickinson rolls for 31 points and 11 rebounds in Maui as KU now plays #4 ranked Marquette in a new "game of the year."
   The Kansas City Star publishes one of its all time fake headlines, reporter James Rosen rocks the White House trying to get an answer about polling, Israel works on a cease fire and Elon Musk is starting the mother of all lawsuits.

   The "game of the year" is here but it doesn't feel nearly as important as what we know will be bigger games for the Chiefs.  Still, after 15 days off, it's time for the Chiefs to show another gear beginning now.
   Kansas State came from 11 down to beat KU Saturday night in Lawrence and it reminded me of exactly how KU frequently beats K-State in hoops.
   Mizzou's miracle season continues after a wild 4th and 20 game saver and another game winner by the thicker kicker.... this time doing the Gator chop after beating Florida.
   The NFL should hammer the Bengals by taking a draft choice from them, for cheating.  I'll fill you in.
   All the J6 footage has now been released and we have complete confirmation this thing was a total scam.
   A black political analyst refuses to properly say Vivek Ramaswamy's name and tells him to "go home."  Uh oh... that's as racist as it gets and Vivek pounced on it.
   The Trump of Argentina just became president in a landslide win and rapper Cardi B is done with Joe Biden.

   The Thursday night football game was so boring after Joe Burrow got knocked out the biggest trending story was NFL anchor/reporter Charissa Thompson's admission on a podcast that they have to speak for coaches and teams from time to time.  EVERYONE knows this but the sports "journalism" community has just unloaded on her for speaking the truth.
   The Missouri Tigers were down 20 with just over 11 minutes to go but play lockdown defense the rest of the way to steal a win at Minnesota.
  A pair of documentaries are coming out in the next few weeks... one on the great George Brett.  Another on the not so great bank robbing Chiefs Superfan Chiefsaholic.

   Hunter Dickinson is a freak and when you watch him play for KU all you can ask is, why isn't he in the NBA after years of college hoops?  I'm no draft expert but I know this, he's better than everyone else in college and it showed in a stunning performance in KU's win over Kentucky.  It's as lopsided as Xi negotiating with Biden.

   They are expecting tens of thousands of supporters of Israel to march in DC today and we can only hope all these things happening in America stay safe for everyone involved.  Our crazy times are getting crazier.
   The Secret Service is having a bad year as they couldn't figure out the White House cocaine scandal and now carjackers have broken into one of their vehicles and an agent fired a shot at three perps.  Nobody was apprehended or arrested and they don't know if the bullet hit the man.  It was Naomi Biden's detail.  What?
   A reporter goes a little too far on a train asking questions of a pro Israel Democrat US Senator... these Hamas supporters are a different level entirely.
   KU coach Lance Leipold says he's very optimistic quarterback Jason Bean will start against KSU Saturday.
   US Open champ Gary Woodland appears to be recovering well from brain surgery as he posts a photo hitting golf balls on X.
   The Bills play giveaway to the Broncos, who tried to give it back and Sporting KC is a huge underdog in the conference semi finals but have nothing to lose. 

Chiefs Win Bye Week, Mizzou Makes Statement, KU Needed Fans, Cats QB Sets Record, Dems Secret Sauce, Bettor Wins Big

   It's one thing to be good, it's quite another to just be on a string of good luck.  The Chiefs were the biggest winner in the NFL this weekend and they didn't even play.  We paint the playoff picture for you and it doesn't include the Bengals, Bills or Chargers right now.  Amazing.
   The Missouri Tigers have really become their very best version behind the incredible performance of Cody Schrader and a defense that stymied Tennessee all day.  Mizzou is staring at a 10-2 season and if only it was 2024, Mizzou would be in the playoffs.
    KU lost qb Jason Bean early on Saturday but still found a way to tie Texas Tech with :26 seconds left.  Then, they really needed crowd noise and fan support but got none with a half empty stadium.  The coach tried to take the blame, but this is more complicated than that.
  In Manhattan, K-State routs Baylor and qb Will Howard set the all time touchdown pass record for the Cats.  Up next, a trip to Lawrence for the Sunflower Showdown.
