   There are just some incredible stories around the NFL Draft this weekend in Kansas City from things seen and heard on the ground to some individual player stories.  We've got 'em all. 
   The Chiefs just crushed it trading up for players they really wanted and attacking every position of need.  We'll go over all seven picks.
   Talor Gooch wins again on the LIV Golf tour and made almost $10m in 8 days.  But wait until you hear how much money his caddy has made in 8 days!
   An illegal alien in Texas that has been deported multiple times went on a rampage and killed 5 of his neighbors.  Silence from your government on this.
   Joe Biden's son is in a courtroom, investigations are everywhere and Joe flopped at the mic at the White House Press dinner.  It's just another awful week in an awful presidency.
   ESPN on ABC commits the all time  gaffe when it shows stock footage of the Statue of Liberty and a man lost at seas for 24 days turns down a new, free boat.

KC Dunks on NFL, KSU ”POY” is Top Pick, Bad Teams Stay Bad, Kansas Passes USA’s First Biology Bill, Cashill’s Must Read, Trump has Biden Impression

   It was a great night as Kansas City and the Chiefs dunk all over the NFL for 6 hours... what a show at the NFL Draft!
   It ended with the Chiefs taking the Big 12 defensive Player of the Year, KSU's Felix Anudike-Uzomah.  This story is right out of Hollywood and we can't praise the Chiefs enough for drafting the way winners draft.  Oh, how times have changed since the "best player available" days of the past.
   I'll tell you which teams are stuck in the past and shocker, they are all losing teams drafting high and getting it wrong.  I love the fact half the league has no clue what they are doing.
   In Kansas, the Republican super majority overrides the governor's veto of a bill that mostly protects women but becomes the first in America to actually define what a man is and what a woman is. Way to go!
   A column by local journalist Jack Cashill at www.wnd.com is the best thing you will read this week... maybe this year.  It's called "In KC, a Real Racist Killer Faces Trial" and it's not about 84 year old Andrew Lester.
   Donald Trump has a new trick in his bag as he busts out a Biden impression at a rally in New Hampshire and a CNN anchor loses his position on his show but that's not the worst part.  Wait until you hear who replaces him.

Draft Night: Chiefs Two Options, KC Set to Party, Greinke Streak Astounding, Golf Rankings Nightmare, Tucker Carlson Speaks

   It's draft night in KC and there's not doubt this town is ready to party.  But let's get to meat of the whole thing and discuss the Chiefs options.  I believe they should only be considering these two positions for a player in the first round and we'll list 9 different players that are possibilities.  Will one of these be the guy or do the Chiefs surprise everyone?
    The Royals are off to Minnesota where Zack Greinke takes an incredible, unbelievable streak into his start Thursday night.
   LIV Golf is having it's best week ever and it's pretty obvious to any honest person the Official World Golf Rankings must change.
   Tucker Carlson releases a video and it looks like a political speech.  Also, a new report claims to know where 85% of voter fraud originates.

Singer Bounces Back, Chiefs Draft Targets, QB Test Score Shocker, Tucker Offered $25m, RFK jr Makes Waves, Biden Questions Abound

   We don't get many chances to lead with the Royals, but the remarkable trend of a really bad team winning frequently when pitcher Brady Singer starts continues.  Singer was sharp and now his starts account for half the Royals wins.
   The draft is here in KC and it's going to be wild.  But let's take a moment or two and target a couple players and positions that could help the Chiefs.
   The Wunderlich test has been replaced by a test called S2.  We have some leaked quarterback scores for you and a description of the new test that are eye popping.
    It didn't take Tucker Carlson long to get a job offer, I'll tell you who has offered him $25 million per year.  This happening as Dem candidate for Prez Robert Kennedy Jr shows huge support for Carlson and a pentagon official blasts the former host.  He must have been doing it right.
   And as Joe Biden announces he's running again the questions come fast and furious for the White House and it's really awkward.
   And our final final is about one of the greatest movies ever and what the man who made it says about changing it.

Historic Draft Week is Here, More than Just Picks, Epic New Refinery Cranking, R’s HR Mask, LIV Golf Goes Wild, NBA Legend Blasted

   We have to admit at KKHI that we've been underestimating the NFL Draft in KC.  If 300,000 people really do show up for this thing, it will be the biggest "sporting event" in our city's history.  We tap a couple experts to get their opinions about what we are about to see... www.dannyclinkscale.com and www.chrisstigall.com.  It's going to be much more than just players being picked.
   Very quietly, a new oil refinery expansion in  Texas has opened and it's cranking out a shocking daily number of gallons of gas per day.  You have to hear the story of this clean refinery and it's greatness.
   The Royals have watched the Angels wear a hat whenever one of their guys hits a homer... so now the Royals have a home run mask modeled after the movie Gladiator.  Somehow it look silly for such a losing team.
   The LIV Golf tour had it's biggest week ever as the whole world is watching wild highlights and madness with hundreds of thousands of fans at their event in Australia.  Tulsa is up next in a couple weeks... this should be interesting.

KU’s NCAA Case Closed/Awaiting Punishment, Billy Preston & Mom Lash Out, Mahomes’ New Contract Soon, Lions GM Supports Women, Biden Frauds Pile Up

   It's been quite a week for KU basketball as a  podcast series was released Tuesday with comments from former player Billy Preston and his mom blasting the KU coaches for acting as "victims" in the recruiting scandal at the center of their NCAA case.  The podcast, produced by KU business partner ESPN, comes out 48 hours AFTER the final hearings KU had with the NCAA regarding its case.   Hmmmm.  A possible punishment from the NCAA is now due this summer.
   The Chiefs are not only talking about the draft, they're taking this spring to remind everyone they will reset the salary bar in the NFL sooner than later with a whopper of an extension for Patrick Mahomes.
   Lions GM Brad Holmes is the first high profile sports person asked if he thinks biological males should be able to compete in girls and women's sports.  And he delivered!  Men in sports better get ready for this question as they are about to get it a lot.
    And the deception and dirty dealings of the Biden's just keep piling up.  Now we learn their campaign in 2020 drummed up the letter and signatures claiming the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian and a debate clip from just before the election looks really bad now.  But nothing ever happens!

Yarl Case Exposes Worst of Us, Two Audio Clips Say it All, Motley Crue to Play NFL Draft, A’s Beat Royals to Vegas, KC Soccer Fails

   The Ralph Yarl case is awful and complicated all at once.  Nobody won here and there is no great outcome for either of the two people involved.  But piling on a frail, seemingly confused 84 year old man exposes the worst of us.  The new details around Andrew Lester's plea are just despicable.
   I've got two audio clips to play for you from national figures that have been in the news a lot over the last year.  You won't believe how these two people sound.
   How do you get and keep large crowds for the NFL Draft to stay all night for the end?  You hire Fallout Boy, Motley Crue and Thundercat to play each night after the drafting ends.  Who knew?
   We can scratch moving to Vegas off the list of possible Royals threats if they don't get a new $2 billion stadium because the A's are moving onto 49 of the most expensive acres in America right by the strip.  But somehow, the Royals want to spend 33% more money than the A's to build here.  What?
   And the soccer teams in KC appear to be as bad as the Royals.  The women's team just fired their coach after an 0-3 start for some mysterious reason. This same coach had them in the title game last year.

Mayor Q Pounces on Tragedy, Public Broadcasting Funding Truth, Roger Marshall Solves Covid Origin, R’s Get Booed, Self’s Big Month

   Mayor Q has been everywhere this week exploiting the terrible story of an 84 year old man shooting a 16 year old kid.  But, why not? This is his game, he's great at it and he won't stop until he gets to the White House.
   KC public radio affiliate KCUR is the latest to drop Twitter.  It's pretty obvious NPR is asking all its affiliates to do this and they will comply.  You've no doubt heard them all claim they only get 1% of their funding from the government, well, I'm about to blow the lid off that as it's at least 31% of its funding BEFORE all the tax breaks.
   Kansas Senator Roger Marshall has been working for two years on a 300 page report about the origins of the Covid virus and it sounds like he's nailed it.  So much so that China is irate with what Marshall reports.
   The Royals get booed after falling to 1-11 at Kauffman Stadium and Bill Self has a huge month coming up in the transfer portal that will determine how good KU will be next year.

Yarl Shooting Complicated, Left Immediately Exploits, Mo Trans Ban, Royals New Low, NFL Draft Security Tops Jan. 6

   There is no question 16 year old Ralph Yarl did not have any bad intentions when he mistakenly went to the wrong door last week but the case is much more complicated than what's being presented.  It's more than plausible that an 84 year old man that was asleep that night was truly scared and in fact called the police himself.  We simply have to get to a point where we stop jumping to racist conclusions and allow "innocent until proven guilty" to be our guiding light once again.  Andrew Lester may be a lot of things both good and bad... we just don't know yet.
   The Missouri House has passed a slam dunk bill that prevents trans persons from competing in girls and women's sports, 104-46.  It's got a chance to become law and wrecks my plan for the KC Current to win an easy championship.  Dang the luck. 
   It's hard for the Royals to hit a new low but they did it Tuesday night.
   The NFL Draft is coming to KC and if you can believe it, our town will have more security for this than Nancy Pelosi wanted for January 6.  Fact.
