Dru the Man, Wader Struggles, "Plantation" is New Trigger Word

The Missouri Tigers have something a lot of teams don't, a go to guy in the clutch.  Dru Smith was the man at Florida as Mizzou gets its best win in a month.  Wade Davis fights his control in spring training as he tries to keep his career going, it's looking like a long shot.  And we know it's hard to keep up with all the Dr. Suess and Mr. Potato head stuff going on, but it looks like the word "plantation" is gone forever and just as offensive as the worst of the worst words you can use.  How are we supposed to keep up with what's ok and not ok?

Lawyer Says Reid Gets Special Treatment, A Royals Reunion and MO Rep Jeff Coleman

Tom Porto, the attorney for little Ariel Young, believes former Chiefs coach Brit Reid is getting special treatment as no arrest has been made.  We've also learned the mother of Ariel pleaded with Brit Reid to call 911 while he was on the phone at the scene talking to somebody else.  This just gets worse.  In sports, 5 former Royals from the glory years are in training camp trying to resurrect their careers, I'll tell you about the latest to sign.  And Missouri Rep Jeff Coleman from Jackson County is our conversation.  He's about to lower your property taxes and talks about how to open up the state all the way post Covid.
 

Breaking: Little Ariel's Attorney on National TV

Tom Porto is the Kansas City attorney for little Ariel Young, the girl left in a coma after a car crash involving former Chiefs coach Britt Reid.  ABC News "Good Morning America" has an update on the condition of the girl and it's not good.  The attorney gives his thoughts and I give mine as well. 

Dem on Dem Hate, Royal Blast Over 500 Feet, College Hoops Old Guard Struggles

With no Donald Trump to unify around and hate, the Dems have turned on each other.  Governor Cuomo is at the top of the list, and should be.  But its so much more.  It's his brother, other governors, even old talk show hosts.  Yep, with their eyes off Trump, the grievance culture Dems are forced to attack their own.  A 22 year old Royals minor league hits the longest home run many people have ever seen.  I'll tell you who has the most powerful bat in the entire organization.  And watching Lon Kruger lose to K-State and then twice to rival OSU was bad enough, but it was on the same night Roy Williams and Jim Boeheim staged a pillow fight for a bubble spot.  College basketball is stale and in need of a new generation.

KU Rolling to Post Season, Royals Lock up Dozier, Trump Wows CPAC, Cuomo on the Ropes

The Kansas Jayhawks have become the best team nobody is talking about, as odd as that sounds.  KU rolls Baylor 71-58 and climb to #11 in the NET rankings, which would put them in the tourney as a three seed.  This team has gotten so much better, they are a real threat now.  Meanwhile, one single loss has put Baylor's Big 12 title in peril.  Baylor is supposed to play West Virginia Tuesday and this crazy last week of the regular season could get very messy.  President Trump threw the kitchen sink at Joe Biden and the few anti-Trump Republicans during his speech at CPAC in Orlando.  We break down the important points he made.  And Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York now has the Attorney General investigating his pervy ways and even the Dems support all this.  Including Chuck Schumer.  The sharks are in the water.

The iconic Kansas City Star building is for sale in downtown Kansas City, yet another sign of the struggles of local media outlets.  You can't really call it a paper anymore and the future of the Star is anyone's guess.  Amazon cancels one of the most historic black figures in America during Black History Month.  Lady Gage offers $500k reward for something that doesn't sound possible.  Hear from Whit Merrifield about the upcoming Royals season... he's coming in hot!  Tiger is transferred to a new hospital and the NCAA has a horrible idea about backup tourney teams in case Covid strikes in Indiana.

Tiger Story Just Beginning, KU/Self Prep for Baylor, Cuomo is Fraud, Cat Fight in Congress

Everyone is relieved Tiger Woods survived a horrible car crash but this story is just beginning.  When a Chief Medical Officer continues to say we should all pray for him going forward, you know it's bad.  Now, there are some coming forward saying it was not a dangerous stretch of the road he was on, typical reporting.  Now we don't know who to believe.  KU coach Bill Self says he's focused on playing Baylor and how it could matter when the NCAA committee seeds the field.  He's right, but this is still an odd change for KU.  Governor Andrew Cuomo is a fraud and embarrassment and should resign.  We should have known how full of it he is when he wrote a book about himself during a pandemic.  There's a cat fight in Congress and 5 counties in this American state want to move next door to a different state.
 

Tiger Woods Accident, Conversation with Senator Mike Thompson

We are all shocked by the news of Tiger Woods' car accident and we now know he has a long way to go in recovery.  Doctors say  he's lucky to be alive.  And we have a wonderful conversation with an old friend.  You know him as your favorite TV meteorologist, I know him as the only other conservative where I used to work.  Mike Thompson is now a Republican state senator from Shawnee, Kansas.

There are the "haves" and the "have nots" from Covid-19.  Most of the media coverage has been focused on the awful situations millions of Americans have been dealt by the reaction to this pandemic.  We aren't talking about getting the virus, this is about life.  And some of the entities that have capitalized on this pandemic scored in a big way and some of it is scary as hell.  Also, Facebook caves in to Australian authorities in my easiest prediction of 2021.  Why do the liberal media love what the conservative leader of Australia is doing to big tech?  I'll explain.  The Royals full squad is in camp, manager Mike Matheny calls it Christmas morning.  We break down how things are different this year.  The president of the Seattle Mariners resigns after comments about Spanish speaking players.  And are the Seahawks really considering trading quarterback Russell Wilson?
