   They are the coaches you love to hate but it's getting harder every day.  Of course you would love a Harbaugh if he was your head coach but there sure is a lot of respect for them being open and honest as they visit Trump at the White House.
   Sportsradio 810 host Jason Anderson posted fantastic side by side comparison pics of Travis Kelce at the Lake Tahoe Celebrity golf tourney last year and this year.  Kelce was an all out bloated slob in the photo... from LAST YEAR.  This year... ripped.  So, it's ok to point out a year later that Kelce wasn't serious about being in shape but not of a player as it's actually happening? It's your choice... you can choose real or cheerleader media.  
  Charles Barkley says he will "100 percent" support Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl if he runs for Senate in Alabama.  Pearl is Jewish and conservative and outspoken.  Stay tuned.
   The Royals host the Mets this weekend and have a huge night Sunday in the MLB draft as they have FIVE picks on the first day.

Royals Believe Again, KU AD to Make History, Livvy Dunne's Apt Fail, Secret Service Suspensions, Job Gains for Citizens, Susie Wiles Talks Elon, Homeowner Breaks Coming

   The Royals have done something nobody saw coming.  They are hitting, winning and suddenly we have to look at them differently after winning 4 in a row and 6 out of 7.   Because they surged to a playoff series win last year AND they want to build a new stadium... I'm guessing the Royals are about to be buyers in the trade market.
  At Big 12 media days, KU Athletic Director Travis Goff talks about their new football stadium opening August 23 and in doing so promises something historic around the corner.  Goff says the next announcement in fundraising has never been done in college athletics history.  We are all ears.
   Gymnast and social media influencer Livvy Dunne thought she had a New York apartment purchased with boyfriend pitcher for the Pirates Paul Skenes.  Then the owners pulled the offer.  She posted a video about it and seemed really hurt because that apartment was Babe Ruth's home in 1929.
   The Secret Service has suspended six agents involved at the Trump shooting in Pennsylvania one year ago.  Job gains for Americans are in the millions as  those for non-Americans falling off a cliff.
   Chief of Staff Susie Wiles does a rare interview talking about what happened between Mr. Trump and Elon Musk.  And homeowners and those who want to be homeowners are about to get some breaks.

   Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe is headed to NKC Friday to support the new sports authority in Clay County, this is a huge sign of support for the Royals new ballpark being built there.  Meanwhile, Chiefs president Mark Donovan makes another comment suggesting the team has it's eyes on a new stadium in Kansas.
   It's been a wild 48 hours after my comments about Patrick Mahomes vacation photos buried 34 minutes deep into Monday's pod.  We appreciate Fox News for actually listening to what I said and getting the story right while everyone else wildly overreacted.  But hey, this is perfect.  I'm serious, the team can make me the bad guy if they want.  Even Mayor Q is piling on.
   The Boys are playin' Some Ball again as the Royals have won 5 of 6.  The Big 12 commish drops an incredible stat about the league's QB's and gushes face to face with Avery Johnson on a hot mic.
   In DC, an investigation into Russia, Russia, Russia is starting, Trump takes a grandfather clock from the State Department to the White House, Mars candy pushes back against RFK Jr and Overland Park is breaking the bank on a new City Hall.
 

Fake Mahomes Controversy Goes Viral, Chiefs Need Year for Another Vote, R's Rolling, DeSantis Has Musk Plan, Mayor Q's Splash is Cool, Buc-ee's Delayed, Prime Days Record

   It's always silly when somebody says something true and it creates a controversy.  Patrick Mahomes has belly fat.  He's also changed the way the game is played and is the greatest player of his generation.  Reaction to my buried in the back of the podcast comments Monday went viral after Mahomes' trainer came after me on social media.  He's the first trainer in history to argue that belly fat is a good thing and, like a great democrat politician, the fanatics actually believe him.  It's your option to find it charming and good... it's my job to point out the belly fat will be gone someday when Mahomes gets serious like other athletes in their 30's. 
   Kansas extended their STAR bond offer to the Royals and Chiefs and immediately Chiefs president Mark Donovan says it will take nearly a year to put something on the ballot for the team to stay in Missouri.  This is insane.
   The Royals are rolling but it feels like too little too late.  A Pirates player in KC has an awesome list of no trade teams in his contract as he obviously hates income taxes.  Ron DeSantis has a better plan, a perfect plan, for Elon Musk.
   Mayor Q takes a dip in a new pool with a shirt and tie on and I think it's a very cool thing for him to do.  Buc-ee's construction at the Speedway is delayed a couple months and Amazon Prime Day is now bigger than Black Friday.

   What was supposed to be a celebratory holiday weekend turned tragic in Texas with some of the most horrific flash flooding we've ever seen.  The stories of loss are just heartbreaking and the stories of heroism are remarkable.
   The Big, Beautiful Bill is in full effect and there are plenty of reasons to cheer.  But the biggest winner may be ICE which gets an incredible boost of support in this legislation.
   Obama threw a wet blanket on Independence Day with a dark, dire, cynical post about our great holiday.  
   We have an NFL pre season game three weeks from Thursday... let's go.  And as the Chiefs get ready to open camp in a few days, it's clear quarterback Patrick Mahomes will have to play his way into shape after vacation photos of him shirtless hit the tabloids. 
    The Royals have won 3 of their last 4 but lost another game toward the wildcard.  And we'll tell you who made the All Star team.

   Wednesday I was given a private tour of the location, amenities and plans for a new Royals ballpark in the Northland.  Much of it is off the record still... but I've got plenty of details for you about the best place for the Royals to play.

   A stunning CNN poll shows that young Democrats hate Jews and love Palestine.  Columbia University is hacked in the funniest way possible and it involves President Trump.
   And Ted Lasso is setting up shop in KC for the new season everyone said would never happen.... except for one humble podcast host who guaranteed it two years ago.

   Shortly after the Senate passed the Big, Beautiful Bill, Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt clarified for everyone that it does eliminate 1.4 million illegal aliens from receiving benefits under Medicaid.  What a relief.
   At the same time, Secretary Scott Bessent went on the attack trying to get interest rates down.  In a scathing attack on Fed Chair Jay Powell, Bessent says "complete panic" is not a strategy.  Wow.
   If you can believe it, our KKHI scoreboard shows Trump had SEVEN wins on Tuesday, wait until you hear all these.
  In sports, everyone thought Salvy had a three run homer in KC's win over Seattle Tuesday.  Wait until you hear about a bone headed play by a centerfielder that fooled everyone.
   Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe is taking money away from World Cup KC.... good move.  Big Ben Roethlisberger slams Patrick Mahomes.  A Diamondbacks fan is booted for the season and a country music star cuts off an interview when they ask him about his wife and other men.

   Is this the week for the big, beautiful bill to pass?  If president Trump has his way, he will sign it on the Fourth of July.  But somehow that seems too good to be true.  Then again, Trump is on a heater and everything seems possible.
   Kansas Senate president Ty Masterson released all the information on a potential Chiefs stadium in KCK and did a tv interview this week to talk about it.  In the process, he couldn't have disrespected the Royals more.
   Kamala Harris can't even line up donors to help her run for Governor of California.  Bobby Witt Jr needs your help to be the starter in the all star game.  And the World Cup group stage matches featured over 1 million empty seats.

A Different Kind of Day, Kansas Senate Reveals Chiefs Plans, Royals Time to Trade, Springsteen Truth Told Here, 4th of July Song of Week

   Thursday was a different kind of day for many reasons for your humble host featuring our meet and greet t-shirt giveaway, a crazy thunder storm and the strangest concert experience ever.
   It happened on a day where the president of the Kansas Senate released a letter from Chiefs president Mark Donovan that details exactly what the Chiefs want to build in Kansas as they ask for a STAR bond extension.
   The Royals are the third worst team in baseball over the past 50 game and that's no small sample.  As they get swept at home, again, it's time to start trading for the future.
   There will be no podcast next Friday on July 4 so we take this Friday to take a look at the often looked over holiday playlist we often get wrong.  There is one song in particular you should never, ever play on the fourth of July yet it's actually ranked as the top song ever for this holiday.  It's by Bruce Springsteen and we will tell you the truth today about this America hater.
   Then we play a great song that honors the flag as our song of the week.
