   The DNC opened in Chicago by trotting out pretty much anyone that ever had their career ended by Donald Trump.  We got Hillary, Joe and soon to be cast aside, Kamala.  This would be like the Royals having a night where they honor one of their 100 loss teams. 
   Its happy birthday for a local dog fostering service that has changed lives for thousands of families.... including ours.
   The Royals make it five in a row and they are pulling away from Boston in the wildcard race.  KC is 4.5 games clear of a spot, tied with the Twins for second place and now just 2.5 games back of first place Cleveland.  This is getting real!
   Tom Brady talks Patrick Mahomes and which teams he thinks are the biggest threat to the Chiefs this year and a college coach turns off his phone to just focus on playing football games.

   VP candidate Tim AWOLz is piling up one bad day after another.  We've heard about the tampons, the stolen valor and taking kids from parents for sex changes.  Now it's a shocking video of police shooting at homeowners on their porches in Minnesota and incredible news that the man can't even manage his own finances.  You have to hear this. 
   We now know why the left lost its mind over Trump and Elon's talk.  This is huge news.
  Spx gambling is on the ballot in Missouri this Novemer... finally.
   Mayor Q is just like every leader on the left, he's caught in a new grift feeding millions of your tax dollars to people in DC and I think we all know why he did it.
    The Twins are just too much for the Royals as hopes are starting to fade, Barkley says he turned down millions and Herbstreit speaks out for women in sports.

   Donald Trump and Elon Musk's discussion on X Spaces melted down with the help of hackers and millions trying to join in.  Then the Libs melted down.  Why do they care so much if Trump and Musk have a chat?
   Kamala Harris' strategy of not talking and not giving information about what she stands for is supposedly working for her.  But it can't last.  Trump will eventually get all the headlines and they know it.
   A majority of Americans believe illegal aliens will be allowed to vote this November... and they are right.
   The Royals flop in a big way against the Twins in game one but have a wonderful opportunity in game 2.  The Twins are missing star players and have elevated a pitcher from A level ball to make his MLB debut Tuesday night.
   The Chiefs get good news regarding Hollywood Brown and Tyreek Hill makes news shooting off his mouth.

Bad Start for Chiefs, Big Week for R's, Mayor Q Stadium Play, JD Vance Kills It, Trump/Elon on X

   It was a bad start for the Chiefs pretty much all the way around.  But there was nothing worse than losing receiver Hollywood Brown on the first play as he could miss the start of the season.  If he does, the Chiefs may have a real problem in those critical first two games.
   The Royals are in Minnesota to take on the Twins in a series with huge post season implications as Bobby Witt is making more history.
   Mayor Q makes a very strange comment making it sound like the Chiefs and Royals are staying in Kansas City, Missouri and we will know all about it in just a few weeks.
   JD Vance is incredibly effective sitting down with multiple liberal Sunday shows.... Trump made one heck of a pick here.  Meanwhile, Trump is returning to X, formerly known as Twitter, with a live conversation with Elon Musk Monday night.

   It may not sound like big news but Kansas City radio was shaken up yesterday in a big way as Audacy Corporation announced it's moving all of its sports radio operations to FM and rebranding as 96.5 the Fan.  It will have the Chiefs, Royals, KSU and MU and all their sports talk.  We have the deets.
   Has anyone, ever, been better at holding a news conference than Donald Trump?  Thursdays may have been his best ever.
   Rapper Nelly wins big at a casino in St. Louis and then gets arrested filling out the paper work to collect his money.  
   The Royals host the Cardinals for two games, the Chiefs open the pre season at Jacksonville and I'll share my thoughts on their new punter.
   Tara Davis-Woodhall wins Gold in the long jump and this one is kind of special for KK and JK.

Baseball is Beautiful, Royals Get Must Win, Butker Takes the Mic, Taylor Cancelled, Kamala Ducks Media

   I need to be reminded, sometimes, just how much I love baseball.  Wednesday was that day as we traveled to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs punk the Twins and then watched the Royals rock the Bosox on the flight home.  What a day.
   At Chiefs camp, Harrison Butker met with the media and he was brilliant, as always.  And the Chiefs are set to play the Jags Saturday, we have a preview.
   Taylor Swift cancels her shows in Austria after two men are arrested for plotting a terror attack.  Kamala is dodging the media as her running mate is under fire for stolen valor.

He Really is Tampon Tim, A Convo w/Gary Lezak, Widow Makes Big Find

    Reports are circulating that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro turned down Kamala Harris, just as we suggested earlier this week.  It was a no win spot for Shapiro and it must be true because surely Kamala isn't really dumb enough to take Tim Walz.  Tampon Tim is already a disaster.  This is going to be fun the next three month watching this team fall apart.
   Meteorologist Gary Lezak joins us to talk about overhyped weather and his new venture at www.weather2020.com.  We also discuss media trends and even work in a couple football predictions.
