   I took the bait and checked out some network coverage today and what do you know, they are all over the leaked audio of Donald Trump talking to a couple book writers and staffers.  Shocker of all shockers, it's what they left out that gives context to this event.
   Roeland Park's new mayor is putting in rules for gender identity in the city's employee handbook.  He may have his heart in the right place, but he's so wrong about how this will play out.

   What an amazing time we had at The Great Lenexa BBQ this weekend as thousands turned out for the fun and the competition.  The guys I teamed up with, as their foot shuffling porter, even smoked a small alligator.  It was quite the hit and the whole event was real America on display.
    The Bidens didn't have nearly as much fun this weekend as Joe and Hunter were holed up a Camp David with plenty of business to discuss as the walls seem to be closing in on them.
    Records were set at the College World Series in games one and two between Florida and LSU and Monday night it's now winner take all.
   Former Royal Mike Moustakas was traded from one dugout to the other this weekend.  An NFL player has to cancel his charity golf tournament after a bunch of whacko leftists turned it into something it's not and a high school golfer gets a tweet from Happy Gilmore actor Adam Sandler.

   As if he wouldn't stand out as the first white dude taken in the NBA Draft, Gradey Dick decided not to take any chances and wore a sparkling Ruby Red Jacket and vest as an homage to Dorothy's shoes in the Wizard of Oz.  He looked ridiculous, but, in keeping with today's real goals, got all the attention and clicks. 
    A consultant for the KU Football Stadium remodel wants to bring attendance capacity down to under 40,000 in order to build all the other stuff KU wants.  Maybe they should be looking at what Baylor did a few years ago.

Trump Speech Censored, Aide Says No Trials Before Election, Starbucks Pulls Pride Merch, Jones/Hopkins Chiefs Status, US Open Golfers Whining, Hockey Rout Ends Cup

    For hours, every media outlet in the country was locked in on President Trump's arraignment in Miami.  Then, when Trump took the microphone to state his case in one of the most historic presidential moments ever, it was censored.  It was either not shown or warnings were placed at the bottom of the screen this could lead to violence.  I don't know how, but this needs to be regulated under election law.  Just as political commercials are regulated.
   An aide to the president says there will be no trial before the election next year and you can take that to the bank.
   History is being made everywhere this 'pride' month as companies are taking a beating from consumers tired of this thrown in their face.  Starbucks is the latest as they've pulled all their merchandise from their stores.  And one MLB team gets it right this month and vows to never have a pride night.  We'll explain.
   Chiefs star Chris Jones is a no show at mandatory mini camp waiting on a new contract.  The Chiefs want to get it done so they can see how much money they have to sign wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
