   Imagine winning Powerball and collecting your money and then being asked to do a news conference with lottery officials and you trash them all right in front of the cameras.  That's Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  What a dick to show up at the Oval Office and air his grievances.  He's lucky to be alive and even luckier to be a billionaire.  Americans won't stand for this.
   Senator Roger Marshall is the latest GOP member to get heckled by radical liberals who are upset the government is cutting costs. What a joke.
   A long time KC area restaurant chain is in huge trouble with the tax man.  I go way back with these folks and I will tell you why this is the least surprising story ever.
  KU basketball is in national headlines for all the wrong reasons and they certainly didn't earn this one.  Is all the online hate toward one player a hoax?  It doesn't smell right to me.

   Ron Freeman was a college football star before playing years of pro football in the USFL and  the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.  He's also the father of Josh, who played quarterback at KSU and in the NFL for six years.  And while football is a huge part of their family's story, there is so much more.
   As a boy, Ron though he wanted to be a black panther.  But going to church as a kid one Sunday, alone no less, Ron chose a different path.  As a leader in GOP politics in the Kansas City area and now the author of a telling new book, he's checked a ton of extraordinary boxes.   His book is titled "Rethinking Race: It's Better Than We Have Been Led to Believe" and it's available on Amazon or wherever you buy books.  He's telling a story America needs to hear and one so many on the left try to silence.

   Out of nowhere at the start of an interview on 96.5 The Fan with Carrington Harrison, Mayor Q calls out yours truly.  And, wow, did he get it wrong.  He lied when he said he didn't know I was still around.  Then he called our reports about the Chiefs wanting to move to Kansas and ACTUAL QUOTES by the Royals owner as "rumors" on talk radio.  Mr. Status Quo seems to be the only person that doesn't know what's going on.
    The GOP has a new tax plan and it's just fantastic.  No tax on tips, social security or overtime.  Let's go!
   Trump has perhaps his best idea yet... the big brother to getting a green card to come to America.  Of course he's calling it the Gold Card.  Wait until you hear this.
   Mizzou goes nuts putting up 101 points against South Carolina but boy, did I miss the boat on this one by not getting my bet in.

   After we reported Chiefs President Mark Donovan is sold on Kansas for a new stadium for the Chiefs and a Super Bowl for KC, officials scrambled in Missouri.  Need more proof Kansas is close to luring the teams?  Listen to Stillwell Representative Sean Tarwater confirm on the record in an appropriations committee meeting that the state is very close to closing the deals.

   It may not make the New England Journal of Medicine but we have found a cure for the college basketball doldrums... the Missouri Tigers.  Let's call them the Fast and Furious as they are must watch material popping #4 Alabama scoring 110 points.  Mizzou and Auburn are the most fun teams in America to watch.  I don't care how it happened I'm just glad it did.
   According to my sources, Chiefs President Mark Donovan is all in on a shiny new stadium at the Legends in KCK where KC can host a Super Bowl.  His one last hurdle is to convince owner Clark Hunt its the best thing to do.  We'll share the one hurdle Donovan has to clear to get it done.
   Team USA Hockey is ready to rock Thursday night against Canada... this time on American ice in Boston.  I've got one request from the fans.
   Trump says he wants to take over Washington DC and federalize it.  Trump says it's embarrassing for visiting world leaders to see what its become.
   The new commerce secretary is a shot of adrenaline and is fired up for how quickly he believes Trump's policies will turn around the economy and bring down interest rates.
   Tony Botello of www.tonyskansascity.com pens a thoughtful piece about the final years of Andrew Lester's life.  Lester was the scared old man that shot the kid on his porch a couple years ago, pleaded guilty to assault just days ago and then died on Wednesday.  So sad.

   Watching KU get worked over by BYU was completely shocking to the system as it appeared the players just didn't care.  It was awful.  "Embarrassed" is the word Bill Self used and said of his traveling party, "we all need to get away from each other."   This may not be the Titanic but KU's ship sure has crashed into an iceberg in the NIL era of college hoops.
   President Trump and Elon Musk sit down for a joint interview that was just incredible to watch.  We'll tell you what they said and why it matters.
