   China raised tariffs over night to 125% and says that's the highest they will go as it essentially cuts off all products moving from the USA to China and they cut off Hollywood films.  Again, so what?  We don't send much to China and our films are 3% of their film industry as they already kept American culture out of their country.  
   Josh Hawley is having fun with all this from the political side as he says libs know this is the right play but have a hard time saying anything nice about Trump.  We also get the news that a giant pharma company is investing billions to build 7 factories in the USA to avoid tariffs on their drugs.  Let's go!
   The Royals take 3 out of 4 from the Twins, even as the bats are struggling, and now hit the road for ten days in really bad weather.  This is going to be a slog.

   Donald Trump actually did shock the world with his announcement he's working with 75 friendly countries to not only improve America's trade situation with them, he's partnering with them to take down China's practices of ripping everyone off.  It felt like a glorious and historic day.
   Meanwhile, the Dems are accusing Trump of manipulating the stock market while rooting for the Chinese to beat him.  They'd much rather Trump lose than America win.
   DOGE unearths some ridiculous recipients of unemployment checks you just won't believe.
   In sports, the Royals bats are quiet again in a  lifeless loss to the Twins.  A future KU basketball star is ranked the number one player in the country.  The commissioners of the four power conferences in college athletics are sitting down for a joint interview on fixing the business side of the NCAA.  And Billy Joel donates to a political campaign but it's not like a lot of the stories you've heard before.

   Vegas odds say its a huge longshot for Stephen A. Smith to run for president.  
   The trade war with China is getting worse as both countries raise tariffs overnight.
   A soccer coach of a 13 year old boy's team has been charged with murder.  He's an illegal alien and he's been arrested before and they've just let him walk until now.  Unreal.

    The Supreme Court has ruled that low level judges without a case before them can no longer stop the President from doing his job.  This is a big one but it begs the question.  Is it worth it for Dems to fight this president when you know these rulings are this easy for Trump to win?
   Kansas Senator Jerry Moran is increasingly a problem for Trump as he's now joining other Republicans to try to slow this president down. Kansans need to be heard.
   Stephen A. Smith from ESPN says he's no longer ruling out running for president.  Gary Lezak is back on channel 41 doing weather in the mornings.  Sort of.

   The Royals win their first series of the season taking two of three from the Orioles.  Bobby Witt Jr is starting to heat up and as unlikely as it may have sounded, Kris Bubic is the best Royals pitcher right now.  Up next, four against the Twins.
   Carla Bernat is a senior at Kansas State but more importantly she's now a champion at Augusta National.  This is quite a story.
   Sporting KC gets its first win of the year after a coaching change this week and the place went absolutely bonkers.  What a relief.
   The prime minister of the United Kingdom says he understands why Trump is doing all these tariff deals and why voters like him over illegal aliens.  Then, he says "globalism is over," in a stunning declaration.
   Fifty countries want deals with the U.S. and several have already said they will pull their tariffs.  Jaguar/Land Rover have stopped shipping cars to America for at least 30 days and our co-host Stephen Miller sums it up like nobody else.

   If you're wondering if the tariffs are good for America, perhaps all we should do is look at the global reaction.  Leaders of allies and enemies alike threw a hissy fit as the tariffs take effect and I'm having a hard time figuring out how this is bad for America.
