Olympics Don't Like You, NBC Falls So Short, Royals Pen Train Wreck, Butker is Back, Vance Schools Kamala, Trump Going Back

   It was pretty clear watching the Olympics opening ceremony that the people in charge of the games don't like you and don't care if you watch.  In the name of inclusivity, they are exposed as petty and hateful people trying to hurt you.  
   NBC Sports falls short with some bizarre primetime Sunday night programming with Mike Tirico and completely unfunny comedian John Mulaney that just confirmed for me that they don't care if we watch.
   The Royals lose two of three from the Cubs but are still in the playoffs as of today.  But there's something kind of scary lurking out there amongst Royals fans.  I'll tell you what it is.
   Harrison Butker made news around the Olympics but then Saturday got great news from his coaching staff.
   Kamala Harris attacks JD Vance as only being loyal to Trump and not to his country.  This is maybe the dumbest political I've ever heard a Dem make and Vance hit back ten times as hard with a million truth bombs.
  Google is suppressing searches about the Trump assassination attempt even as Trump says he plans to go back to Butler for another rally.

Real v Fake, Trump Getting Stronger, Tucker #1 Podcast, Chiefs Go Deep, Royals Host Cubs, Song of Week

   It didn't take long for America to see the real Kamala Harris is fake.  From an awkward staged fake phone call with the Obamas to a stunt gone wrong visit to a record shop to buy black music, Kamala is at her worst when we see her.  Donald Trump is the total opposite as he has crushed it this week with dose after dose of "real" statements and actions.
   Tucker Carlson has passed Joe Rogan for the #1 podcast on Spotify as I'll share thoughts of how podcasting reminds me of a revolution in the 1990's.
   The Chiefs are changing the game plan this week and they're going deep.  I'll play a clip from Stan Weber on radio yesterday on how and why the Chiefs are doing this.  It's going to be fun.
  The Royals have their best three starters against the Cubs this weekend then the back end of the rotation against the White Sox.  The next week of games are set up perfectly.

Biden Address is all Politics, Trump Demands Equal Time, DC Gone Wild, Jackson County GOP Making Progress

   Joe Biden's Oval Office speech was totally political even though his staff said it wouldn't be.  Shocker.  Dr. Jill is on the Harris train and it's full speed ahead to save America so we can keep funding wars, spend trillions to change the weather and pack the Supreme Court.  Oh, it was quite a dud from the fat lipped slurry prez.
   Trump is now demanding equal time from tv networks and he's right.  It's worth hiring lawyers to fight.
   DC almost melted Wednesday with Israel's Bibi giving a rousing speech, protesters demolishing the street and the FBI director saying he's the only person in America that never saw decline in Biden.

   Joe Biden will address the nation tonight and is reportedly going to tell us what's ahead the next 6 months and how he will finish the job.  It's a little scary, but we gotta keep him in office until the election is over.
   Meanwhile, the Fake News are going silly over Kamala being the candidate and surely everyone can see this is made up.  It's so predictable.
   Another big union endorses Trump, a candidate for Missouri Governor has a tv ad grabbing headlines and Elon Musk denies he's spending $45 million a month.
   The Royals fall flat at the K as Alec Marsh is becoming a problem in the rotation.  Louis Rees-Zammit is a special teams Swiss Army knife and Tiger Woods' son has a terrible outing in a junior tourney.  Then we'll tell you why you may see a whole bunch of people on the Misssouri River this week.

Crazy Night at the K, Kamala Completes the Coup, Clark Hunt's Favorite Word, Bobby Witt's Heater, MLB Players Channel Trump

   Through four innings Monday night, Bobby Witt Jr only needed a single to hit for the cycle.  So the Diamondbacks hit him with a pitch in the 6th.  It was a crazy night at the K surrounding the hottest player in the game.
   Kamala Harris seems to have completed the coup and has $100 million in a war chest for her campaign against Donald Trump.  By the way, do we even have a president these days?
   Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has a favorite new word and he's using it over and over while discussing stadium issues.
   Bobby Witt Jr. is 12 for 15 since the all star break and is hitting nearly .500 in July.  This is crazy.
   And players for Tampa and St. Louis have been channeling the Trump "fight, fight, fight" fist pump which is, of course, triggering liberals everywhere.

   A report has exposed on national cable outlet that's been making it look like they are broadcasting from the Republican convention when in fact the whole show stayed in New York.

   Karen Crnkovich is a small business owner running in the GOP primary August 6 for the right to face off against Sharice Davids for Congress in the Kansas 3rd and she has just a little Marjorie Taylor Greene in her.  She's here for a chat in studio.

   It seems impossible five days after President Trump was shot the Democrats are somehow a bigger story than the Republican Convention.  But at least on Wednesday, they were.  Biden has Covid, Schiff wants him out, talking heads are breathing fire and Senators are chasing the Secret Service Director through the concourse of the arena looking for answers.  The aftermath has a nasty stench of censorship of information and Kamala's team is pushing for her to take over.  We cover it all.
   It was supposed to be JD Vance's night at the convention but Trump's oldest granddaughter, Mai, steals the show.
   In sports, Patrick Mahomes is laying down the law at camp.  Andy is looking for nuggets but they aren't made of chicken.  The Royals start the second half with a 15 game, 5 series stretch they need to dominate.  The Open Championship is underway and Caitlin Clark sets a record.

   Second night speeches at the Republican National Convention hammer Democrat policies hard... really hard.  We heard family members who have lost loved ones because of weak policy and high profile figures articulating solutions.  In a change of pace, I'm going to give you the truth about what speeches landed and which speeches bombed.
   JD Vance is up Wednesday night as he accepts the party's nomination for VP and the bar is very high for what this brilliant writer will have to say.
   Reports about the Trump shooter just get sillier and sillier... god help us if this was all just incompetence.
   Cole Ragans and Seth Lugo deal scoreless innings for the winning American League all star team as each earned "holds" for their effort.
   Patrick Mahomes gets to St. Joe for training camp where he needs to lose weight and get in shape and Kansas City's most famous soccer player joins the Trump train at the convention.

Trump Owns Day 1, Dana White's Words so True, Biden SS Failure is Reason to Resign, Bobby Baseball Oh So Close, Tiger Turns Down Ryder Cup

   In his first public appearance since being shot on Saturday, President Trump owned Day one of the Republican National Convention.  From naming JD Vance as his VP to forcing Joe Biden to offer more Secret Security on his detail and getting SS for RFK Jr, it's pretty clear Trump is completely in control of almost everything right now.  Then he walk into the arena and the place went wild.  What a day.
   UFC Chairman Dana White is perhaps Trump's best friend and he spoke out in words that cut right to the core of who Trump is.
   With admitted failure by the Secret Service Director that Joe Biden picked and then Biden giving service to RFK and beefing up Trump's detail, how come nobody is calling for Biden's job?  Could there possibly be a more disgusting example of election interference, threat to democracy and/or total incompetence from this man?
   Bobby Witt Jr. hit 50 homers in the Derby, more than anyone else.  They travelled over 3.8 total miles.  But he needed two more feet to win the trophy.
   Tiger Woods takes the chicken exit and turns down the Ryder Cup and Collin Cowherd has one of those embarrassing broadcaster moments you hate to see somebody have.
