   There's something very strange happening with members of Trump's cabinet that if we read it in a history book about the Lincoln administration we would have thought it was the scariest of times.  Is something big going on?  We take a look at a series of things that point to something historic.
   Meanwhile, President Trump has decided he wants to go nuclear option and end the filibuster.  Its something nobody has really wanted to happen but he gives a really solid reason.
   The teachers unions have been going nuts over the shutdown and for good reason.  It's not their funding, that just plugs along.  It's something else and its huge.
  Mizzou basketball coach Dennis Gates is asked about playing Howard University and a scholarship both schools have from a former reporter in KC and in the process seems to let  it out of the bag he has TDS.

  JD Vance was at a Turning Point event at Ole Miss and just dazzled the crowd of over 10,000 Wednesday night.  CBS News is undergoing massive changes and is reportedly saying goodbye to its "race and culture" unit as part of a big reduction in workforce.
   In sports, the Blue Jays take a 3-2 lead in the World Series.   Stan joins us to previews the Chiefs/Bills big game on Sunday.  We also chat about the turns in the season for KSU, MU and KU.

   With all the democrat fixation on the Trump Ballroom being built, one democrat stands out above them all and is calling for something so crazy.... we hope it actually happens.  The Ballroom Blitz appears doomed to backfire.  
   At the same time, pride in America for democrat voters is at a 25 year low.  Sounds like a win to me.
   Changes in some of our biggest cities are happening at the top of ICE.  We have the deets on how the Border Patrol will now influence a change in procedure for mass deportations and Phase 2.
   Trump scores more deals in Asia as he gets ready to meet with Xi of China.
   The Chiefs have one stat this year that stands out above all others.  A new defensive tackle signed by KC is very familiar to all of us.   The Colts new female owner is changing the game on how to run a team... and she's got the top team in the AFC all of the sudden.   KU's Darryn Peterson sits  in an exhibition win, Toronto ties the World Series at two games a piece and our Final Final is a numbers game.

Chiefs Too Much for Commanders, Next 3 games Set the Playoffs, Stadium Chatter Annoys, CFB recap, Oh My Ohtani, KU Freshman Dazzles

   The Chiefs kicked aside some early sloppiness to blast the Washington Commanders with a dazzling second half performance that was near perfection.   The Chiefs ran it, Mahomes threw it and everybody got in on the action.  A pair of defenders go their first career interceptions putting away a struggling team that brought all they had.  KC is still in 3rd place in the AFC West but it's not a stretch to say the next three game (@Bills, @Denver, Colts) will determine the one seed in conference.
   The governor of Kansas and the owner of the Chiefs both talked about stadium issues on Monday and it feels like nothing has gone anywhere.  Could somebody please do a deal and make a decision?
   We'll revisit K-State's big win over KU Saturday and Mizzou resetting its season as a lot has changed in a short period of time.
   Monday night's game 3 of the World Series was a 6 hour and 39 minute marathon that saw the Dodgers win in historic fashion in the 18th inning.   And wait until you hear what Shohei Ohtani did, the most incredible stat ever.

Chiefs Look to Keep Rolling against Washington

   Everybody believes it's going to be easy work for the Chiefs Monday night against the team that should still be called the Redskins but let's not forget Washington was in the NFC title game last year.
   Starting QB Jayden Daniels is out but Stan Weber tells us that for a game or two, there won't be much difference with Marcus Mariota under center.  We'll break down the matchup and ask the question if Washington coach Dan Quinn disrespects the game looking silly wearing his hat backwards.

   It's a numbers game on KKHI today as gas prices, arrests, deportations and polls all make Trump look like, well, Trump.  This is getting so good.

   It's possible the Chiefs just played the single most complete game in franchise history and as easy as it is to write it off as just a crappy Raiders team, don't fall for that.  This was brilliance all the way around as KC may be playing better right now than any time in the Andy/Mahomes era.  What an epic 31-0 beatdown that could have been even worse.
   The Broncos are officially the team pulling the rabbit out of the hat every week and they did it again Sunday to take the lead in the AFC West.   Mizzou wins a double OT game at Auburn that was dramatic but not exactly a thriller.  Just Mizzou taking care of business.
   Late Night at the Phog had a completely different look and sound this year to tip off KU basketball and it's not a good look.
    The Secret Service has found a hunting stand in a tree next to Palm Beach Airport right in line of sight of where President Trump gets on and off Air Force One.  KJP has a new book out ripping the Dems and the No Kings rallies around the country all looked like Saturday Night Live sketches.  What a joke.
